Pacific Northwest Chef Caprial Pence is no stranger to those who seek cooking advice. From an extensive library of cookbooks to nationally syndicated cooking shows, she's a notable force in the culinary world.

Shot on location at Caprial's Bistro in the Westmoreland neighborhood of Southeast Portland, “American Lamb –Taste the freshness!” aired nationally on Food Network. American Lamb sponsored celebrity-cooking shows during the nine-month campaign. Chefs and shows include such high-profile names as Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck, “Mario Eats Italy,” “Good Eats with Alton Brown,” and “Food Nation with Bobby Flay.”

The commercial won a bronze Telly Award and recently an 'Award of Distinction' in the Communicator Awards.

The National Meat Association, Superior Farms and other industry participants sponsored the campaign. The purpose was to increase awareness of American lamb as a viable option for the home cook. The campaign featured two commercials. Tying in with the television ads were inserts, ROP ads and in-store promotions, including recipe booklets.

JDP Media wrote, produced and directed the commercials in conjunction with ImageInk who supplied art direction and produced the print campaign. We utilized many talented people on this project, and were pleased the result.
