Evergreen Aviation Museum has launched its first television campaign, produced by JDP Media. Coinciding with the release of the Martin Scorsese motion picture The Aviator, the dramatic portrayal of Howard Hughes, “Dream to Fly”, is a timely tie-in. The 30 second ad is the first in a planned series.
Showcased here are the first, the fastest and the biggest aircraft – all of which the museum houses. Of course the scene-stealer here is the gigantic “Spruce Goose”, Hughes' innovative creation and Evergreen's well-known attraction.
The challenge was to capture the grandeur of the museum and just a few of its unique exhibits.
To show the enormous size and scope of the museum, the ad was shot in wide-screen for a cinematic look and feel. Subtle digital effects, such as fog and streaming sunlight were composited in post-production giving a spacious, nostalgic feel – just a taste of what any visitor to the museum experiences.
Primetime Media of Oregon City arranged the media buy and called upon JDP Media to produce the ad. JDP also worked with Nicole Wahlberg, Evergreen's Director of Marketing.
“ I love it!!! Thank you - it's amazing.... ”
